Manuscript comprising a complete work on practical Kabbalah. Written along several notebooks [over one hundred pages]. The manuscript was not written for personal use, but as a Kabbalistic composition to teach the reader how to prepare lots. This is expressed in several places, where the writer addresses the reader directly, “Know my brother, that stars …” Judeo-Arabic and some Hebrew.
The manuscript contains, inter alia , precise instructions for casting a goral hachol and tables for deciphering the lots; “to know where the buried treasure lies”; “for theft”; “to know whether a stolen item will be returned”; “to know whether the thief is among the suspects”; “to remove anger” and much, much more.
The name of a chacham who understands astronomy is mentioned several times: ” HaTochen Zinati [?] states …”; “The daami said, know that I took this way from the Kadmonim …” Likewise, on page 68b, there is an argument presented in the name of “Rabbi Nechemiah Chiyya zlh”h” – apparently the Sabbatean Kabbalist Nechemiah Chiyya Chayyun, who was excommunicated by the geonim of his generation. Written on page 66b: “And in the squares on page 72 in the sefer by G. Y. Shmuel Chakim.”
