The collection includes about 330 items of Jewish prints, books, booklets, all different types, about half in Hebrew, a third in English and the rest in Spanish, German, French, Russian, Dutch, Yiddish, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, and Italian.
The collection touches on a variety of subjects, including Judaism, the Jewish Nation, Israel, Hebrew, history, society, immigration to Palestine, education, culture and literature, anti-Semitisim and the Holocaust. Some are clearly ephemera, as they were printed by marginal or local institutions, or relate to specific events, and were distributed in a limited manner. It’s no wonder that these items are not found in the National Library, or in most known libraries in the country.
