An example of one of the several dozen of segulahs that appear in the manuscript: “For the fool (mentally ill), he should take an egg when the chick is coming out of it, yet still inside, burn the egg and give him to drink from it – this is tried-and-true.”

* “Tried-and-True for the Evil Eye” – Kabbalah. Persia, 20th century. Kabbalistic-Persian manuscript, minimum quantity and maximum quality. The manuscript includes: Various amulet forms, segulahs, protections and compilations. The manuscript also includes an incantation that is “tried-and-true for the evil eye.”

* Ledger of ‘Segulot V’Refuot, ‘ early 20th century. Interesting manuscript: ”Segulot V’Refuot’ in an old ledger. Western script (chatzi kolmus) in Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic.
The manuscript consists of a large number of various segulahs for the whole range of problems and illnesses common among people, including instructions and special Kabbalistic symbols designated to be written on amulets. The manuscript is apparently written by the author for himself, without a title page or colophon. There are notations (calculations) from 1920-1921 on the second page.
