Halachic letter from Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky. London, [1943]. In his hand and with his signature.
The letter is written on the stationery of the London Beit Din and was sent to “my soul-friend, and genius”, but does not mention the addressee’s name. Rabbi Abramsky begins the letter with a report about his health, and then discusses the halacha regarding a particular get.
Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky was a Torah genius. He authored the “Chazon Yechezkel” series on the Tosefta. In his later years, he moved to Jerusalem where he led the previous generation of Charedi Jewry.
