Letter of halachic responsum from the leading rabbi of German Jewry, the sacred gaon Rabbi Avraham HaLevi Bing Sega”l, primary disciple of the great eagle Rabbi Natan Adler, alongside his close friend the Chata”m Sofer, who also cites him extensively in his sefarim and sees Rabbi Avraham as one of his teachers.The letter deals with hilchot taharat nashim . Würzburg, Kislev, 1833.
The letter was sent to his great disciple, Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Bamberger, the elder rabbi of Würzburg, who the Gr”a appreciated greatly.
The first part of the letter was written by a scribe, and from the words: “And the words of R”Tz are correct in my opinion” etc, are written by Rabbi Avrham himself.
