Shabbtai Yaakov Molcho – one of the scholars of Jerusalem, deceased in 1813.
Eliezer, son of Rabbi Yosef Binyamim Bergman, author of “Behar Yeraeh, ” founder the Ho”d Kollel in Jerusalem.
Some of the Rishonim claim the author is Rabbi Yehudai Gaon, however other Rishonim say it is by a sage named Rabbi Shimon of Kayra – see publisher’s foreword.
