Rabbi Tuvia Shalom Foa b”r Yehudah Chaim was a rabbi, mohel, and ritual slaughterer in Italy. The Department of Manuscripts in the National Library has his mohel’s ledger, written between 1837 and 1889. The ledger indicates that he primarily worked in Monticelli, Firenze, Busseto, and Parma. In addition, another leaf in his hand appears at the end of his grandfather’s manuscript, regarding “order of comments and prayers for the Rosh Hashana shofar blowing.”
