The heter was given in Padua on 5 Tevet 1789. The youth was tested by two of the city’s shochtim: Shlomo Dina, disciple of the Ramchal and dayan in Padua, and Eliezer Bazivi.
Rabbi Yitzchak Refael Finzi was rav”d of Padua. His sermons were famous, and even Christian sages and ministers came to listen to him. He was called to participate in Napoleon’s Sanhedrin and was seated next to the nasi. He authored many works on drush and halachah: Pri Tzadik, Pri Toar, Zayit Ra’anan and more.
Minimal stains and fold marks. Fine-very fine condition.
