Typewritten notice calling for participation in a megillah reading on Purim night and during the day of Purim at the Etz Chaim study hall, on 14 Adar – Purim D’Prazim (despite the fact that Jerusalem celebrates Purim on 15 Adar).
As is known, Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tukachinsky’s approach was that only the neighborhoods closest to the Old City count as part of it, where Purim is celebrated on 15 Adar (and it doesn’t help if another neighborhood is next to one of these). As such, according to his opinion, from the Beit Ya’akov neighborhood outward, Purim is to be celebrated on the 14th of Adar. Indeed, this is how it was conducted at the regular minyan in Etz Chaim (which was located opposite the central bus station), as appears on this document.
