Lengthy letter, written by a son to a father, with an authentic description of Purim events at the chassidic court. Including battles with the “wicked people” [those who opposed the Admor], and a detailed description of the “Purim Tisch” with sharpTorah thoughts from Admor Yitzchak Eizik, some of which have never been printed! Includes a description of his personal meeting with the Admor, the advice he received from the Admor, and much more! Admor Yitzchak Eizik Eichenstein of Zidichov [1805-1873] was a disciple and the successor of his uncle, Rabbi Zvi Hirsh “Sar Beit HaZohar.” His uncle admired his nephew, to the extent that he said that an exalted soul had been sent to him on Sukkot from the heavens, and was given to his brother Rabbi Berish (Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik’s father), and other amazing praise for Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik. He was a noted wonder worker and kabalist. He was venerated by many factions and many Admors were his disciples, so the customs of Zidichov were instilled in additional chassidic courts, including that of Tosh, Spinka, Komarno and Kaliv. Some melodies sourced in the Zidichov chassidic have survived in Munkatch and Belz. He was renowned for his sharp Torah thoughts that were printed in his works, Peirush Mahar”i and Likutei Torah.
