Photo postcard (real-photo) depicting rabbis and students at the yeshivah led by Rabbi Doctor Ya’akov Hoffman in Frankfurt am Main during final exams. 1936/7. Explanatory note on the back of the postcard.
WWII broke out just a few years later, and the yeshivah scattered in all directions. Some of the students managed to flee to countries of refuge, and some were murdered – may their blood be avenged.
