Interesting letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chaim Chernowitz, known as ‘Rav Tza’ir’ – to Harry Wolfson. 1929.
In his letter, Rav Tza’ir tells of his magnum opus, Toldot HaHalachah , “with which I am occupied for most of my days.” He also writes that the bulk of his book is ready for print. However, the first part of the book was only printed in 1935.
