Lengthy and interesting letter – proposal of a match between a prominent Talmudic scholar and a very wealthy woman. Odessa, 1886.
The letter was sent to a scholar – “Rabbi Ritter Herr Funte(?)” (Possibly the renowned gaon Rabbi Dov Aryeh Ritter?). Inter alia , Rabbi Eliezer Lipman Printz, one of the heads of Pekidim V’Amarkelim, is referenced with much praise.
The signer is unidentified.
