Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Rosenbaum of Kretshnif [Rabbi Hershl] [1920-2006] served as the Admor of Kretshnif in Kfar Atta and then Jerusalem. He was born in Sighet, to Rabbi Chaim of Dorhovitch, son of Rabbi Eliezer of Kretshnif. After the Holocaust, he moved to Jerusalem where he held “tish,” while he was still a young man. After his wedding, he moved to Kiryat Atta, and in 1982, moved back to Jerusalem. He authored the Torat Chaim V’Emunah on the Torah , Kedushat Tzvi and more.
