Magnificent copperplate architectural title page. At the top is a picture of a bird, per the name of the author’s wife – Feigaleh-Tzipporah. The author tells the story of his life on page 148b. “Eizeh Gargirim” is printed on the last page, where the author writes “I saw a Sha”s on parchment in Pershyi … and then I found a chumash in Pershyi written on parchment from several hundred years ago…”
Owner’s signature on the title page: “Ya’akov Cordovero.” Antique Ashkenazic signature, crossed-out with a quill pen.
