[2] pages. 23×18 cm. Clear, legible script. Rabbi Yehuda Assad was a prominent Hungarian rabbi; a righteous and holy person. He answered thousands of questioners, and was one of the leading Torah disseminators in Hungary. He was born in 1794 and was a disciple of Maharam Bennet. In 1853, he was appointed rabbi of Szerdahely, a position he maintained until his death in 1866. His responsa and novellae on the Talmud, Torah and Aggadot Chazal were printed posthumously. Small, restored hole from the acid of the ink, with loss of solitary letters. Fine condition. Especially rare.
