Letter from Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. Bnei Brak, Nissan, 2016.
The letter before us deals with the study of the halachahs of the Temple and its sacrifices, and Rabbi Chaim, in an important halachic ruling, determines that there is a special mitzvah to occupy oneself with these halachahs: “And it is certainly a mitzvah for each and every person to study the laws of the sacrifices.” The gaon Rabbi Chaim even adds that this is a segulah to hasten the redemption, and bases this on the Chafetz Chaim . Rabbi Chaim ends his letter with a blessing: “And may it be His will that this be very soon.”
[1] leaf paper, 10×15 cm. Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky signed his name at the end of the letter.
