[1] letterhead. 21.5×16 cm.
The first section was written by the Admor’s gabbai. The Admor added a lengthy, 8-lined blessing in his own hand and signed his name.
Admor Yaakov Leiser of Pshevorsk [also known as Rabbi Yankele] was born in 1907. Even at young age he feared G-d to an amazing degree. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Itzikel of Pshevorsk. He moved to Antwerp, Belguim, and began leading the community after the death of his father-in-law. He was known as a genius in Torah, halachah, and Chassidic works. He emphasized the obligation to cleave to the disciples of the Baal Shem Tov and was renowned for his ability to precisely recount stories regarding the Chassidic leaders that he heard from his great Chassidic teachers. He passed away in 1996, and his son Rabbi Leibish now serves as Admor.
