Chinuch Atzmai . As the successor to his father-in-law, Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, as the Rosh Yeshiva of Etz Chaim, the letter deals with support that he enlisted for the yeshiva.
Upon the death of the father of Rabbi Nissan Aharon Tukichinsky (1922-2012), Rabbi Yechiel Michel, in 1955, he was appointed as the head and director of the Etz Chaim Institutions and as the editor of Luach Eretz Yisrael. He also edited the writings of his great-great-grandfather, Rabbi Shmuel Salant.
