Written on both sides of the leaf, blessings and thanks for the books that he sent him. In the letter, Rabbi Botschko discusses Rabbi Gerstenkorn’s vision, “…because he was the first to give his hand to build and found Bnei Brak, whose reputation has spread throughout the world – a city of Torah …..” Rabbi Eliyahu Botschko was a disciple of the Alter of Novardok. Due to the tumult of the times, he reached Switzerland. In 1928, he founded the Eitz Chaim yeshiva in Montreux, amongst the Alps. He was an outstanding personality, with a remarkably harmonious mix of genius, life skills, and warmth. Very fine condition.
