Rabbi Avraham Yissacher Englard was born in 1909 to Rabbi Yeshaya, the Rabbi of Sosnovtza. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Elazar Leiner of Radzin, the “Tiferet Yosef”. He headed the Sod Yesharim Yeshiva in Radzin. During the Holocaust, he joined the partisans with other Radzin chassidim. After the Holocaust, he went back to Sosnovtza and took care of thousands of refugees. A few years later, he moved to Brooklyn. Under pressure from Radzin chassidim, he immigrated to Israel and served as Admor of Radzin and reinstituted ‘tichelet’. He died in 2006
