Letter signed by the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch to his aunt, 1952.
Letter of blessing for the upcoming Passover festival, in which the Admor also adds a blessing on the topic of the future redemption: “May G-d soon give us the merit of the future and complete redemption through our righteous mashiach.” The letter was sent to Mrs. Rachel, the Admor’s aunt, (apparently) Mrs. Rachel Schneerson, wife of Rabbi Shalom Shlomo Schneerson, brother of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the Admor’s brother. Mrs. Rachel was the daughter of the renowned Chassid Rabbi David Tzvi Hirsch Chen. The poetess “Zelda” was the daughter of the aunt, Rachel, and of Rabbi Shalom Shlomo.
The Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson [1902-1994], seventh in the dynasty of Admors of Lubavitch, began serving as Admor in Shevat 1951, continuing in this role until his passing. He was a tremendous genius in all secrets of the Torah, and his net was cast across the entire world.
