Letter handwritten and signed by the miraculous wonder-worker, the Admo”r of Bohosh, l Aviv, 1965.
This letter deals with the establishment of the veteran and renowned institution in Bnei Brak, ‘Em VaYeled.’ The rabbi, known as a supernatural salvation-worker blesses abundantly in his letter.
Rabbi Yitzchak Friedman [1903-1992] , the Admo”r of Bohosh, was a son of the Admo”r Rabbi Shalom Yosef of Spikov and son-in-law of his uncle, the Admo”r Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Bohosh. He served as Admo”r of Bohosh beginning in 1930 and was one of the most admired figures of Romanian Jewry. He led Kollel Romania. After the Holocaust, he ascended to Israel in 1951 and established his study hall in Tel Aviv and in Bnei Brak. He became famous as a wondrous tzaddik, even regarding his appearance – when he grew elderly, he still had a face as smooth as a baby’s. Chassidim relate that on Shabbat night, the wine in his kiddush cup would boil and froth as he whispered Kabbalistic Names.
