Very long letter with especially important content, with a rare blessing from Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch, regarding the greatness and following in the ways of his father-in-law, the RYY”Tz. The letter was written just a few days before the RYY”Tz’s yahrzeit. Brooklyn, 1969.

Content of the letter: The Rebbe writes in the letter as follows:
“We are a just a few days before the 10th of Shevat, the yahrzeit of my holy father-in-law, Admor … I would like to arouse us to strengthen ourselves; to go in the proper way, as he taught us with his manner, and we should follow his ways …”
The Rebbe continues describing his greatness at length, and how to follow in his ways in practice. After that, he writes: “The words of our leader, whose yahrtzeit is upcoming, are known, and this day is suitable to connect to the eitz chaim [the living tree – the RYY”Tz] etc., to be saved regarding children and plentiful sustenance.”
At the end of the letter, the Rebbe grants a rare blessing, “With blessing and success, for farbrengens practiced with Torah, service (to G-d) and lovingkindness, in a way which keeps on growing.”
After his signature, the Rebbe added 25 lines [printed] in which he added comments on what he wrote in the body of the letter, wherein his great genius and mastery of all the secrets of the Torah is evident.
Interesting item; the date the letter was written was the eve of Shabbat of the Torah portion “Bo el Pharaoh,” and the Admor writes regarding this in his comments:”ש”ק פ’ בא: שנת התש”י – נסתלק כ”ק מו”ח אדמו”ר” [“The holy Shabbat, p’ Bo: 5710 (1950) – the year of my father-in-law, the Admor’s passing.”]
