Content: The rabbi writes that it is correct to notify women preparing for birkat hamazon, and request that the mezamen bless out loud, so they can hear the zimun.
He then adds and writes, “By the way, I would like to know what the man did with the letter I gave him, because although I want to be kind, I would still very much not want to be deceived. As such, I would really like to know.”
Background: Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach [1910-1995] among the greatest adjudicators, and one of the leaders of Lithuanian Jewry, rosh yeshiva of Kol Torah for 46 years, author of Meorei Esh , Maadanei Esh , Minchat Shlomo and more.
