Beautiful and interesting letter entirely handwritten and signed by the renowned gaon Rabbi Yechiel Ya’akov Weinberg, author of Sridei Esh , and sent to Rabbi Hillel Medaliah. Montreux, Switzerland, 1957.
The letter deals with a wide range of topics, both personal and Torah. Among these are Rabbi Medalia’s lineage; the Sridei Esh pressures Rabbi Hillel to hurry and find a shidduch “The maggidim have already interpreted the saying by Chaza”l that shidduchim are as difficult … ‘as splitting the Red Sea.’ There, Nachshon jumped into the sea …” Later, the author of Sridei Esh tells of the articles he wrote that were printed in various places, as well as about a kuntress that he plans on printing regarding women whose husbands converted (out of Judaism).
