In the letter Rabbi Yechezkel Levenstein gives details about deliveries of money of support to a particular Torah scholar, and also discusses the explanation of the verse “And Eisav was a man who knew hunting.” which he cuts short “due to the speed of the messenger.”
Rabbi Yechezkel Levenstein, one of the greatest products of the
mussar movement. He learned in Kelm, received the title “The Mashgiach” and educated thousands of students. He served as the
menahel
ruchani of the Mir Yeshiva, and later in the Ponovezh Yeshiva. His articles were published in the books
Ohr Yechezkel .
