Yoreh Yoreh Yadin Yadin semichah for Rabbi Zalman Sofer of Vienna, son of the gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer, av beit din of Erlau, who fled Vienna due to Nazi persecution, and therefore requested to receive a rabbinic position “to increase Torah and broaden the places of the tents of Torah.”
