The first edition of the work of the “Maggid of Trisk”, the first rebbe of Trisk, the son of Rabbi Mordechai Chernobyl. Fundamental work of Chassidut Trisk and Chernobyl. Leaf [3] features a lithograph of the author’s signature and handwriting. Possessing this book was considered a segula – as per the blessing that the author wrote in his introduction. The last leaf [113,2] features an omission in small letters. Some copies feature this omission in larger letters on another leaf marked: 114. Original, blemished detached leather binding, with embossing: יעקב יואל כראם. Detached and lightly blemished title page. Minimal aging stains. Overall fine condition.
