A large copper bowl, Damascene work, inlaid with silver pieces, with the Temple mount at its center, stamped Bezalel Jerusalem. Beginning of the 20th century.

Unique work with delicate silver pieces inlaid throughout the plate, decorations and engravings on the rim and inside the plate which are typical of Bezalel. Inner border with writing in silver pieces: “If I forget you, Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its strength.” In the center of the bowl is the Dome of the Rock, and under it the writing: “The Site of the Temple” and the stamp “Bezalel Jerusalem.”
Signs of corrosion, many breaks in the silver pieces. Moderate condition.
