Mazal tov letter written by the gaon Rabbi Ysef Tzvi Dushinsky, ga’ava”d of Galanta and Jerusalem, to his disciple “[many honorifics] … Shimon Blumenthal … in honor if his wedding.
Rabbi Dushinsky expresses his joy about the wedding, and blesses him “The blessing of a simple person – may you see peace and blessing with your wife …” He notes that he received the invitation late, after the wedding, but despite this, he is writing an elegant letter, yet with all that is keeping him busy, he is sending him blessings on a postcard, and infusing him with his blessings, adding, “Please let me know how things are going with you.”
He also sends regards to his father-in-law, “My friend, the gaon …”
