Me’ulefet Sapirim authored by Rabbi Shlomo Algazi, the Rabbi of Izmir, who at the end of his days was the head of the Beit Din in Jerusalem. Fought bitterly against the movement led by Shabbatai Tzvi, and was forced to flee from Izmir. He became ill while travelling and had the name Nissim added.
In the book are Pirkei Machshavah and Mussar that are built on the words of the Zohar. Durfort, [1786]. At the end of the book the Iggeret HaRamban [Rabbi Moshe the son of Nachman] which he sent to his son in Catalonia in Spain from Acre (Acco).
The “Iggeret HaRamban” has been printed hundreds of times. Here is the third printing of the Iggeret. A comparison with the version known today has not been made.
[2], 45, [1] leaf. 14.5 cm. A very old and impressive signature on the title page. Has not been deciphered. Attractive new binding. Tiny moth holes on the title page. Stains due to age. Good condition.
