Mikveh Yisrael by Professor Rabbi David Miller. California, 1924. Yiddish.
The book contains practical guidelines suitable for everyone as to how to build a do-it-yourself mikveh in one’s home, even inside one of the closets! He deals with a maximally-kosher mikveh (even for women’s immersion). The book was written, as mentioned, about a hundred years ago, not requiring technological innovations of any kind, just using items easily obtained everywhere (several boards and several pipes). It is meant as a solution for those who live distant from Jewish communities.
The book includes an approbation from ‘The elder of the generation, the gaon Rabbi Moshe Zvulun Margaliot, who writes: “As this precious person invented … a good and easy way that anyone can make a mikveh in his home … without any impediment.
