A depiction of the prophet Yirmiyahu lamenting the destruction of the Temple appears at center against a backdrop of the ruins of Jerusalem, with angels on the right and the left. The right page ( Yachin ) bears a scene of striking the stone and of Shlomo’s wisdom. The left page ( Boaz ) bears a scene of the binding of Yitzchak and of Ya’akov’s blessings. At the top is an illustration of the Decalogue and the verse: ” V’Shachanti B’Toch Bnei Yisael .”
