The front of the coin features a relief of the synagogue with the name of the architect, Albrecht Schmidt, 1887. The reverse features a relief of the synagogue’s destruction and the text ‘firebrand saved from fire’ and ‘neus gemeindehaus (the new synagogue). Very fine condition.
