The Zohar indicates that the Ar”i wrote three Kabbalistic hymns for Shabbat, each one for a particular meal among the three Shabbat meals, entitled “Azamer B’Shbachin, ” “Asader L’Seudata” and “Bnei Heichala.” These time-honored hymns are among the few manuscripts written by the Ar”i himself. This commentary was written by Kabbalist Rabbi Yisrael Saruk for these hymns.
With a commentary on Pirkei Avot attributed to the Ar”i z”l, and with Ma’amar HaMilu’im , a supplement to Rabbi Menachem Azaryah of Pano’s Asarah Ma’amarot .
