Sefer Noam Elimelech – the most important Chassidic segulah sefer . “This is the work by the rabbi, the Kabbalist, the renowned Chassid, the sacred Ish Elo-kim , about whom “Kadosh” is declared …” Lemberg, Avraham Nissan Suess Press, 1863.
This is an early edition of this important sefer , with an approbation by the rebbe Rabbi Meshulam Sussman of Anapoli, the author’s brother. The book opens with ‘Hanhagat HaAdam’ by the same rebbe. At the end is Ta’amei HaMitzvot by the G-dly Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Gikatilla, and two letters that were printed for the first time in this edition. It is presumed that one of these letters was sent to Rabbi Moshe of Pshevorsk.
As mentioned, on the letter it states that it was printed at Avraham Nissan Suess Press, however, printed in the margins of the title page, is: “A.N. Suess und B. L. Necheles.”
