Hassidic mystical commentaries on the Torah portions by Rabbi Elimelech Weissblum from Lizensk. [Russia-Poland, 1820].
[1] 3, 5 – 91, 93-95 leaves, 22 cm.
Based on the text on the title page is appears that the author was Rabbi Yehiel Michal of Zlotchov [!] and apparently this is because of censorship. An early edition and very rare.
On the title page is the stamp of the Sage Rabbi Avraham Brandwein, the son of Rabbi Uri Brandwein, grandson of Rabbi Yehuda Zvi of Stratin, who served as the rabbi of Piatra-Neamtz in Romania and acted on behalf of the refugees from Poland who fled there during the Holocaust.
Old binding. Stains. Some moth marks. Medium condition.
