Artistic print. Signed ה. פייכנפלד. Berlin, 1922
[1] large leaf. 49×37 cm.
Impressive illustration with a Shabbat menorah at center and verses regarding Shabbat. A man wrapped in a tallit stands at right, and a farmer leaning on his tools is depicted on the left.
The Berlin Museum’s catalogue of Judaic items published in 1989 features this print at its conclusion, item 289. It is described in length over a number of pages. That print does not have an artist signature and is pasted to cardboard. This is the original leaf, matted. Signed by pencil. Very rare.
Minimal, light aging stains. Very fine condition.
