Notebook of Torah novellae on a range of topics. Many of the novellae were written in the names of their originators, such as “I heard all this from the gaon R’ Shmuel of Salant, z”l,” or “I heard this from the gaon of Kaminetz” and more from great rabbinical leaders.”
The handwriting was not checked and the identity of the writer not investigated, but the novellae indicate that he was a Torah scholar of stature.
