Nice, clear, large handwriting. With charts to calculate Talmudic currencies and weights. Rabbi Shmuel Dovid Ungar was rosh yeshiva and rabbi in Nitra, Slovakia and a leader of Slovakian Jewry. He was the teacher and father-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Michael Dov Weissmandel. His yeshiva was the last surviving European yeshiva during the Second World War. He died of hunger and weakness while hiding from the Nazis in the forest at the beginning of 1945. Overall fine condition.
