The author was one of the leading earlier sages, a student of the RAVY”H and the R”I of Frish and rabbi of the Maharam MiRotenberg. The book’s manuscript was found in the archives of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Lehrin of Amsterdam, who bought it from a fisherman in Paris. The manuscript was miraculously saved after the boat in which it was carried sank to the depths of the sea. With approbations by the author of Chiddushei HaRim , Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan of Kovno and others. Two parts with two title pages. On both title pages, the name of the book and place of printing appear in red ink.
