Rabbi Avraham Chai of Sofia ( Otzar HaRabbanim 1056), was among the sages of Turkey and Jerusalem, son of Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak. Av Beit Din of Splatro, author of Chaim V’HaChessed . There are two important Jewish customs accepted across the Diaspora which he instituted. One is the Bat Mitzvah party, and the second is reciting “nishmat” as a segulah.
