Sefer Pardes Rimonim by the G-dly Kabbalist Rabbeinu Moshe Cordovero. Koritz, at the press run by R’ Tzvi Hirsch Margaliot and his son-in-law R’ Shmuel b”r Yissachar Ber Segal, 1780. Second edition.
This is the first book of those printed at the Koritz press with a decoration on the title page. That same year, this press published the first works of Chassidic doctrine ever.
Several notations by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Ginzburg, and his signatures, appear in this book, along with some by his son, Rabbi Shmuel. Otzar HaRabbanim lists several rabbis with this name (no. 3249 through 3254). We do not believe this one here is the gaon, the author of Sha’agat Aryeh .
