Illustrations and decorations [some on entire pages] by Siegmund Forst, in his noted trademark, woodcut style. Siegmund Forst was born in Vienna in 1904. He studied in the academy of art in the city. In 1939, he emigrated to the United States where he designed letter fonts and illustrated children’s books. This haggada features woodcut illustrations and decorations, in the style of the era when Forst started creating these types of works. Very fine condition.
