Placard issued by the Histadrut Tzeirei Agudat Yisrael – summer camp committee. The placard appeals to the charedi youth, both working and learning, to enroll in the summer camps of Tzeirei Agudat Yisrael in 1948. Two photos at center; one of the youth at the summer camp in Zichron Yaakov in 1947, and the other with scenery of the summer camp. With text: “Fresh, therapeutic air – swimming in the sea – a quite, safe place. Medical supervision – healthy, nourishing food, help and guidance in studies.” With the addresses for enrollment and more details in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Petach Tikva. The ephemera collection of the National Library features a placard from a different [later] year regarding a summer camp of the Tzeirei Agudat Yisrael in a similar format but different photos. This placard is not in the National Library’s collection. 47×63 cm. Fold marks. Very fine condition.
