In a responsum on a postcard, the gaon replies on a topic in Kadshim: “I don’t know what the consequence is of this beraita’s disagreement with the one in Menachot, and if it is difficult, the reason for the beraita in Menachot is also unknown to us; it is a kabbalistic matter, or a homiletic understanding from the verses.”
The gaon’s signature appears on the side designated for the sender’s address.
