The prayers for the patient are per the ShL”H, with many supplements. With the selichot for the chevra kaddisha for the fast day of the Thursday preceding Chanukah. What is special about this edition is that the selichot are per the custom of London. The instructions scattered throughout the book are in many places written in Tze’enah U’Re’enah letters, in German.
On the title page: “first part” – but no others were printed. Uncommon book, apparently printed in a limited number of copies.
Written on the binding is that the book belongs to the chevra kaddisha in the Great Synagogue of London.
