The opening leaf of the book has been autographed by the artist and the title page bears a lengthy inscription to Jacob Monsky with another signature and a colored illustration of flowers from 1970.
Reuven Rubin (1893-1974) was a prominent Israeli artist. He became well-known during the British Mandate and at the early years of the State of Israel. His works expressed the light and spirituality of Eretz Yisrael. He was an Israel Prize recipient.
Within a slipcase, water stains on the bottom of the case. The book is in very fine to excellent condition.
