Sefer Doresh Tov – Kabbalistic sermons for Shabbat Zachor, Shabbat HaGadol, Matan Torah and eulogies. With Sefer Sha’arei Aruchah – Kabbalistic and mussar commentaries to various verses arranged alphabetically, by the tzaddik , the Meluba”n, Rabbeinu Ya’akov Abuchatzeira, the ‘Abir Ya’akov.’ Jerusalem, 1884. First edition.
Dedication filled in on the back of the title page apparently handwritten by the publisher Rabbi Aharon to: “The host of Torah, Rabbi Senior Shmuel Salma …”With owners’ stamps by “HaTzv”i Shalom Adahan S”T of Lille” [a Moroccan tzaddik].
The book was published by the author’s son and disciple, Rabbi Aharon Abuchatzeira. In the book’s introduction, the publisher attests that his father would study 18 chapters of mishnah by heart every night, and would review verses and gemara, and only napped , not settling down to a proper night’s sleep. He would awaken to recite Tikkun Chatzot and study Kabbalistic works until dawn. He would then go to synagogue for the Shacharit prayers – the first of the minyan, where he would sit down to study Torah.
